Our guests are taken to see our colony of habituated Meerkats who live on the edge of the Ntwetwe salt pan. These Meerkats are human habituated and this therefore gives our guests a once in a life time opportunity to observe their natural behaviours and charming personalities from almost touching distance!

The lodge is situated only a short distance from the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, consequently making Gweta lodge the gateway to the Makgadikgadi salt pans. On the pans you can visit the very entertaining Meerkats, see the impressive Baobab trees and the incredible biodiversity of the region.

Our premium twin rooms are tastefully furnished with two extra length three quarter beds, mosquito nets, aircon, television, mini-fridge, thee- and coffee facilities and ensuite bathroom.
Our family rooms comprise of two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom is fitted with two single beds. All family rooms have ensuite bathroom, mosquito nets, fan, etc.
The standard twin rooms are fitted with one double- or two single beds. Some of our twin rooms are also fitted with aircon. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom, mosquito nets, fan and towels are provided by the lodge
Rustic African-style rooms with two single beds, mosquito nets, fan, etc. Each rondavel has a private open-air bathroom.
